Boi, are we late this month, but we were pretty busy. Keep a lookout for some very exciting NPA news. We have been working on this for ~12 months, and it's finally coming all together.

For now, let's dive right in.
The Boston-area schools produce the most startup founders, according to PitchBook's annual rankings.

Eight Massachusetts universities are among the top producers of venture capital-backed startup founders.

Harvard (3) and MIT (4) both ranked at the top of the list. Check the full ranking here.
A new report from the Boston Foundation shows that Boston has no clear path toward its goal of becoming net-zero by 2050, and it's off the pace to hit the 2030 carbon emissions target.

Our monthly survey

In our October survey, we asked if you agreed that the traditional recruitment process is obsolete and why.

The results showed that 21% agreed that yes, it's ineffective to find talent in the modern market, while another 21% believe that no, the traditional process works fine. A thought topic that divided the responses.
With prices hitting new highs, along with labor shortages and supply chain bottlenecks, what previously seemed like transitory inflation is shaping up as recession.

As inflation will not be coming down anytime soon, we'd like to ask:
What measures is your company taking to prepare for this high inflation?
Diversifying supply chains to the extent possible.
Cutting costs and spending wisely.
Raising prices to make up for the increase in operational costs.
Automating to reduce labor costs.
Restructuring loans and obtaining new lines of credit.
