The State of Manufacturing

The overall PMI Index of 59.3% in October recovered from last month and shows some continuous encouraging growth signals.

New Orders increased by almost 8% , Prices are increasing by 2.7% and Production is steadily growing by 2.0%.

The Supplier Deliveries index keeps increasing, meaning Suppliers are struggling to make deliveries which supports the trend of the past few months, longer lead-times in both the electronics and some of the metal commodities.

Average production material lead time is at 62 days.
